A personalized approach to therapy:

1

Consult.

The initial meet and greet. Conducted via phone call or Zoom meeting, we will see if my services are a good fit for your child and your family.

2

Evaluation.

Through a combination of informal and standardized assessments, I will evaluate your child’s speech, language, and/or literacy skills and develop a treatment plan as appropriate.

3

Therapy.

I offer specialized treatment for a wide variety of speech, communication, and literacy disorders; however, I specialize in the areas of reading and writing.

4

Parent/Caregiver Education.

Therapy does not stop when we are done. I help coach parents and caregivers so that what the child learns in therapy can be carried over at home to maximize generalization of skills.

5

Additional Steps.

I can help guide parents and caregivers through obtaining speech-language and literacy services through the school system and make Individualized Education Program (IEP) recommendations as appropriate.

6

Additional Resources.

It is important to me to look at the whole child. In doing so, I can recommend professionals in other areas as needed, such as occupational therapy, physical therapy, developmental pediatrician, and other medical professionals. I will tap into my extensive network and make referrals to address additional areas of need.
